+ Cyclopean Masonry

      "cyclopean stone walls"

Wall in in Hatunrumiyoc street, Cuzco

Excerpt of "Lost Civiliations of the Andes" by Davod Pratt Jan 20, 2011:
Most Inca buildings were made out of fieldstones or semi-worked stones set in mortar, while others had adobe walls, usually with stone foundations. But some of the buildings attributed to the Incas use precisely cut and shaped stones closely fitted without mortar – yet not even a knife blade can be inserted between them. Sometimes more or less rectangular (ashlar) blocks were used, but instead of being straight, each side is usually wavy, yet fits snugly with the neighbouring block. The most advanced stonework makes use of polygonal blocks, with as many as 12 angles or more, which interlock perfectly with all neighbouring blocks; some of the polygonal blocks are truly cyclopean, sometimes weighing at least 100 tonnes. Such stonework staggers the imagination. As regards lateral joints between blocks, the close fit observed from the front of the wall is sometimes only a few centimetres deep and the interior of the joint is filled with rubble. But in many instances, the snug lateral fit extends through the entire thickness of the wall, just as the bedding (horizontal) joints do. Such walls are essentially earthquake-proof. The fact that ‘Inca’ walls tend to incline inwards by 3° to 5° also contributes to their stability.

+ crystal caverns and glowworm caves

Ross Island, Antartica, beneath Mount Erebus, the worlds southernmost active volcano
Name: Mount Erebus was discovered on January 27, 1841 by polar explorer Sir James Clark Ross who named it after his ships, Erebus and Terror. Erebus was a primordial Greek god of darkness, the son of Chaos.
How it was formed: The volcano constantly releases hot gases which steam up through cracks and fractures in the volcanic rocks. As soon as this gas hits the frigid Antarctic air it freezes, and over time has created an intricate network of delicate ice caves and hollow towers, some as tall as 30 feet.

my friend kristen is here right now in Waitomo, New Zealand.
The word Waitomo comes from the Māori language wai meaning water and tomo meaning a doline or sinkhole; it can thus be translated as 'water passing through a hole'.
There are around 300 caves in Waitomo, but it's not the geological formations that make these into a subterranean wonderland, it's the larvae of their resident glow worm - Arachnocampa luminosa, a species unique to New Zealand.

Beneath the town of Naica in the Chihuahuan Desert, Mexico. Geological Features: The cave is also known as Cueva de los Cristales. It contains the largest natural crystals ever found, which are composed of selenite. The largest is 11 m (36 ft) in length, 4 m (13 ft) in diameter and 55 tons in weight.

this cave is Dongzhong cave school, Miao village, Ziyun county, China.
Dongzhong means 'in cave'. The Dongzhong cave was formed by wind and water erosion over thousands of years. Now two hundred pupils, 18 families and their livestock live here.

The Platonic Solids

Michael Paukner, Sacred Geometry 1
These five Platonic solids are ideal, primal models of crystal patterns that occur throughout the world of minerals in countless variations. These are the only five regular polyhedra, that is, the only five solids made from the same equilateral, equiangular polygons. They are geometrical forms which are said to act as a template from which all life springs. The aesthetic beauty and symmetry of the Platonic solids have made them a favorite subject of geometers for thousands of years. They are named after the ancient Greek philosopher Plato who theorized that the classical elements were constructed from the regular solids. To the Greeks, these solids symbolized fire, earth, air, spirit (or ether) and water.

The Platonic solids are also called “cosmic figures” and are the basic modules for Sacred Geometry.

fluorite

Fluorite helps to ground excessive energy, particularly mental, emotional and nervous energy. It is a powerful healer, it affects all the chakras as well as mental attitudes. It is excellent for use in cleansing the aura…it is known to ride the aura of cording (unwanted attached energy lines from other people). Fluorite aids in channeling as well, excellent for connecting with the Akashic records for answer to your past lives. It is particularly helpful in aiding inter-dimensional communications, particularly with Nature spirits, faeries, elves and other fae folk.
