"Information wants to be free"... is a slogan of technology activists invoked against limiting access to information. According to much criticism of intellectual property rights, the system of governmental control of exclusivity is in conflict with the development of a public domain of information. The term is generally dated back to U.S. writer Stewart Brand.[1]

+ Impactful
My Indesign program does not recognize Impactful as a word. I thought I was just spelling it wrong so I looked it up.
Impactful
The adjective impactful, a late-20th-century coinage, is frequently derided as a meaningless buzzword, but the word is here to stay whether we like it or not, and many people find it useful.
The main gripe is that impactful is illogical because the suffix –ful means full of, and impact is not a quantity and hence can’t fill anything. The problems with this complaint are (1) that –ful also means having the quality of, and that (2) impact bears the secondary sense the power to make an impression, and such power can be a quantity.

+ 5 more weeks
Sometimes school work makes me feel crazy. I wanna crawl under my desk and not come out till it's over. Sometimes its not so bad. I have 34 more days until I am done with school! It's hard to believe. So much has happened, I have learned so much. I just have to keep pushing. I am doing yoga everyday at home and have really upped my shower game to full on spa level. These techniques along with some white wine at night and a steady flow of homemade walnut chocolate chip cookies, with my two amazing sidekicks, Otis and Jasper, by my side, I should finish up with flying colors and still have a little sanity left. It takes a village to make a designer and I am very grateful for my wonderful network of support.

+ Meadowsweet tea
Tonight I am having Meadowseet tea from the hills of Kentucky. I take it with a bit of honey in a hand made mug, for best results.
Meadowsweet is a mild, but effective anti-inflammatory herb used to treat arthritis and other aches and pains. Meadowsweet leaves and flowers contain salicylates, compounds that are converted by the body to aspirin. Meadowsweet is especially helpful for those arthritis sufferers who have gastritis, (inflammation of the stomach lining) from years of taking NSAIDs. While it may seem contradictory at first, since aspirin and salicylates are know for causing stomach upset, but years of observation and historic use confirm that meadowsweet is effective in a wide range of digestive problems, including diarrhea in children3. This makes a strong case for the whole herb being much more than just the sum of its "active" ingredients.1

+ Artist of the Month
I had my first art showing this past month of March at Wash Perk coffee shop. It was a great experience and I got to share my collages with many friends. I sold 9 out of 16 collages, all going to wonderfu friends of the shop. I also got insight and inspiration, ideas for new series and look forward to my next month, November, to display a new series of work. High resolution images of the collages will be on my website within the week.

+ perigree syzygy April 7th
A supermoon is the coincidence of a full moon or a new moon with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its elliptical orbit, resulting in the largest apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth.[1] The technical name is the perigee-syzygy of the Earth-Moon-Sun system.
- For any satellite of Earth including the Moon the point of least distance is the perigee(/ˈpɛrᵻdʒiː/) and greatest distance the apogee.
