Sometimes school work makes me feel crazy. I wanna crawl under my desk and not come out till it's over. Sometimes its not so bad. I have 34 more days until I am done with school! It's hard to believe. So much has happened, I have learned so much. I just have to keep pushing. I am doing yoga everyday at home and have really upped my shower game to full on spa level. These techniques along with some white wine at night and a steady flow of homemade walnut chocolate chip cookies, with my two amazing sidekicks, Otis and Jasper, by my side, I should finish up with flying colors and still have a little sanity left. It takes a village to make a designer and I am very grateful for my wonderful network of support. 

+ Artist of the Month

I had my first art showing this past month of March at Wash Perk coffee shop. It was a great experience and I got to share my collages with many friends. I sold 9 out of 16 collages, all going to wonderfu friends of the shop. I also got insight and inspiration, ideas for new series and look forward to my next month, November, to display a new series of work. High resolution images of the collages will be on my website within the week.

school has me in its clutches until mid december. I just don't have time to keep up with my blog much, however Tumblrs' accessibilty and speedy blogging format has favored me well. check out my tumblr blog for now, i will return with more in 6 weeks!!!

+ Im Back!

After a long, eventful and busy summer I'm back! My old computer pretty much died on me, or outdated itself disabling most internet usage. But I've got a brand new computer now and its amazing.  Soon i will post pictures from this summer as well as design projects!

july update: i just got back from mexico, staying in the mayan riviera with my family at the fancy mayan palace. i spent a week mastering lazy poolside bliss and walks along the shore, looking for coral fossils. i will be going through the pictures tomorrow; iguanas, coatis, food journals, art, playa, family, transit, etc. coming soon

a chambered nautilus; one of the oldest creatures on the planet. octopus' evolved from them and there use to be 35,000+ varieties dominating the ocean floor. some were as big as station wagons.
