before reaching Gerlach, NV, the line to get into Black Rock stretched for a couple miles along a usually little traveled two lane country road. We saw the sunset within a caravan of eager and weary travelers. In the last picture you can see that salt stood on top of the sand along the road, I tasted some for good luck.
