Although it can be sad at times to see nature suppressed and pushed out of the cities, it reassures me a bit that even on a sidewalk in the middle of the concrete jungle, mother nature never gives up, and seeds fall and grow in the most seemingly desolate places. |

Before the first frost last week, I picked the flowers of our basil plant and began to let them dry.In a week or two I will pull apart I will collect their small seeds and save them for the herb garden in the spring. |
