jaw dropped, gazing mostly speechless with occasional flutters of inspired conversation with my friends jess and sydney, we explored the rooms holding magical and potent artists stories- painted, drawn and photographed. moments of time, their minds etched out on canvas for the world to see and ponder. needless to say i loved visiting the san francisco museum of modern art indeed. and their rooftop coffee. and their sculpture garden.

mark di Suvero : this is one of my favorite from the trip. This majority of the sculpture is balancing at a very small point atop the center pole structure. The museum security guard told me a story of storms and winds making it really move on this 6th floor roof in downtown san francisco.
one of my personal heroes: Buckminster Fuller
in case you are unfamiliar, Bucky was an American systems theorist, architect, engineer, author, designer, inventor, and futurist. He published more than 30 books, inventing and popularizing terms such as "Spaceship Earth", ephemeralization, and synergetic. He also developed numerous inventions, mainly architectural designs, the best known of which is the geodesic dome.*
